Dreams
Look up into the sky.
Don't be afraid to try.
Open your hearts
to a new beginning.
You know that your life
is well worth living.
Imagine all that could be.
If you just push forth
and follow your dreams.
All the wonders that
could be yours.
If you just walk
through life's open doors.

80% of women diagnosed with breast cancer will survive more than 10 years. (American Cancer Society)
Breast cancer is not a death sentence, especially if it is detected early. A mammogram is not painful. At worst it is only mildly uncomfortable.

Don't let fear of hearing the words "breast cancer" keep you from getting an exam. Instead, let the fear of hearing "it's too late" get you there soon!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Our best defense is early detection. If you have not had your annual breast examination or you have never had one, now is the time to make an appointment and Just Do It! If you have a loved one, remind her how much you love her and want her to get her breast examination.
